IT WAS GOOD TO SEE KELLY AND MILT

Carron,

I was glad we were able to make it for a little bit Saturday night.

The school year has been busy so far, but I think the students are starting to
get settled into a routine. I have 16 on my roster this year and a lot
have their IEP's due right away so I will be busy working on those.

I keep telling my daughter that she has to help me get some pictures on the
blog (she is much more computer savvy than I am).

Thanks for checking in and maybe we will run into you again somewhere.

Kelly

BEARDED CLASSMATE
Anamosa was part of the Prairie Invitational. Recognize this classmate?
Jim and Kris May were also there, along with Connie Engelbart.
If I remember correctly, Jon's e-mail address is Copperdog@n-connect.net

CROSS COUNTRY
The Prairie Cross Country Invitational was last night. Here is the Rickels boy child running his sweaty butt off and being a dork with his poppa and me.

MORE SCOTT PARTY PHOTOS
Click on the link below to see more photos from Scott's party taken by Brenda.

HATCHER THINKS HE'S HILARIOUS
(Actually, I'll give him this one. He's just one Photoshopping bastard, isn't he?)

LUNAR ECLIPSE
it's not all it's cracked up to be
OK, so, I set my alarm clock for 3:30 a.m. so I can watch the whole la luna moon thing. I actually crawled out about 4:15. Since I don't have one of those ginormous, telescopic lense cameras like NASA, this is the best I could do. I'm no astronomer, after all. It is now almost 6:00 a.m. and I know I should try to get a little sleep, but after half a pot of good, dark, Norwegian coffee, it ain't gonna happen.
Who whapped me upside the head with a dillusional stick and thought it would be fun to watch a moon get smaller? NASA? Dillusional? Hell, give me a package of diapers and call me Lisa Nowak.

THE MOON
The full moon was gorgeous tonight. You gonna wake up at 3:50 CST to see the lunar eclipse?
If I make it, I will take and post pictures. Don't hold your breath.
SCOTT, WRITE TO SHIPLEY!!!

Carron,

Sorry I couldn't make it back for Scott's party. Looks like everyone had a great time. Could you send me Scott's e-mail address? All I have is his old military one. I'm sure he has gladly abandoned that one now!

THANKS FROM SCOTT

Carron,

Thank you so very much for last night. It was truly great. I am so impressed and overwhelmed at the turn out. Carol and I had a wonderful time and want to thank you and Tony for all the hard work in getting the entire event together. We will stay in touch and I hope we can all get together again in the future.

MESSAGE FROM MIKE HAUSER

Carron -

Great talking to you, Tony, & Scott! Liz is settled with the host family, really enjoying the independence, and registered to start her senior year at Wauwatosa West HS on 4 Sep!

Glad to hear that the party was a success! Take it easy and thanks again for tracking me down Saturday night!

Ciao,

Mike
FINALLY.....
PICTURES FROM SCOTT AND CAROL'S PARTY
Below are the pictures from the "Welcome Home Party" this past Saturday night.
Thanks, once again, to everyone for attending. An especially big thanks to Scott for all you have done and to Carol for keeping the fires burning on the homefront. We are so proud of both of you.
(Click on the link below to see all the photos, except some entirely inappropriate ones taken by Deutmeyer when he snatched my camera and went apeshit. Having the pics in a slideshow like this makes them easier to save or send to others. Feel free to share.)
