MY NEICE, ALEX

My neice, Alexandra, graduated from 9th grade in Denmark. That is the equivalent of graduating from high school in America. She will be coming to Anamosa in less than two weeks to live with Randy and Lisa (Heitland) Williams for a year to attend good old Anamosa high school in the fall.

Here are a couple pics of her graduation reception with my bro, Brad, and her momma, Inge. Notice the flags.... Denmark, USA, and the Hawks. Herky was there supervising the festivities.

MY GREAT DANE(ISH NIECE)

Here are some pictures of my niece, Alexandra, taken at Disney World. She was traveling from Denmark with her mom, Inge, and a friend. She will be living in Anamosa with Lisa Heitland Williams during the next school year. I can't wait to have her so close!!

The tailgating was fun and the weather was beautiful. That's all the positive I can say about the game today.

I had lunch today with bro, Brad, and his beautiful wife, Lene. They are visiting from Denmark. Brad was here last weekend, too, and has had the chance to see three Hawk games this year.

My neice, Alexandra, got confirmed in Denmark last Friday. She is a pretty little Scandinavian, eh?

Y'all have seen pictures of my beautiful children :-), so now I am posting a pic of my original family taken on September 14, 2006, when Brad was in town for the ISU/Iowa game. Mom and Dad both retired in 1999 and Brad lives in Denmark. (Yes, the country, not the town in Iowa.)
