MORE BAD NEWS

Sharon Covington's oldest brother, David, was killed in a car accident Thursday night.

His obituary is in the Quad City Times today. I believe it will also be in the CR Gazette and Anamosa paper later in the week.

Obviously, her entire family is in shock right now. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

(Thanks to Diane Norton for the info...)

  1. Sharon, you have my deepest sympathies and all my prayers. I cannot even imagine what you must be going through.

I hope to see you in August. I have a big hug reserved just for you.

Keep your chin up, honey. It'll be okay.

    Love you much,
    Carron

  2. Sharon,
I am so sorry to hear of your brother's tragic accident. It was just a few weeks ago that my sister and I went to the funeral of Deb (Noe) Carson's 14 year old daughter who also died in a car accident. I felt so sorry for Debbie, her husband, and their 2 younger daughters. I feel for you and your family, from the bottom of my heart. I can't imagine the pain, the loss, the anger, and all the emotions you are all going through, but, I did witness what Debbie was and still is going through. People say time heals all things, but, with an unexpected event like this, I think it probably feels that time has stopped completely. You are all very much in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you all can find the strength and encouragement to make it through each day, one at a time, by remembering loving memories, silly times, and all the fun that you all had together. May God graciously bless all of you in this time, to find the support you need through the many people who love and care for you and your family. Brenda
