We just returned from vacation in Germany. Wife & kids were there 6 weeks, and I went for 2 weeks. We stayed with Dorthe's folks there.
We had some excitement there--Lukas had an accident. He slid down a bank and his leg got impaled by a jagged peice of metal in the ground, and he ended up being flown via helicopter to the ER. He was basically OK in the end with "just" stitches. Other than that it was nice.

Her folks live in a rural area just a bit south of Koblenz. The pictures were taken on the Mosel river valley. Lukas has always been good with German, and Justin learned a lot more this trip. No one spoke English to them so it's sink or swim. When you're 6, your brain is like a sponge.
