1,000th POST

Today's last post marked the 1,000th entry since the
blog started in September, 2006!!
Our newest - and most frequent - visitor is
from the Keystone AEA in Manchester and Iowa Telecom
in Strawberry Point. Do we have a classmate who
lives up there that we don't know about? If so, let us
know who you are so we can welcome you aboard!!!

  1. OMG! Too funny...

That would be Lori and me, Carron. She works in Manchester and lives in Strawberry Point. Whenever someone she works with asks her what I look like, she knows where to find lots of pictures of me! But since most of those pictures have the two of us in them, I'll go out right away and get her a wallet-sized pic she can carry with her and save her all of the explanations! ;-)

By the way, we're engaged now, and very, very happy together! Looking at getting married next summer after her oldest daughter, Molly, graduates. Since she'll have two more kids still in high school I'll be moving up there when we get hitched.

Have to admit, I still check out your blog once in a while myself. You're good at it and it's nice to hear what's going on with people I grew up with. Can't say I blamed you for wanting to quit for a while, because I know how much you put into it, but I also know how many people really enjoy what you do. The fact you've kept it interesting this long makes me wonder if you shouldn't follow in your Dad's footsteps and write a book or something! But if it's an auto-biography, be kind!!! ;-)

Take care, Carron. No stalkers here!

  2. Whew! Glad that mystery is solved! ;-)

Congrats on the engagement! Gonna share some pics of your lovely fiancee with us?

I'll make you a deal: I'll be nice in the autobiography if you don't anthrax the mailman!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and Lori.

  4. You're supposed to say, "It's a deal, Diehl."

OK, maybe not so funny to others.

    BTW, how's your mom doing?

  5. Hey -- I got the Feedjit thing to work, but I can't get that other thing to work (the one that tells who is on what page or specific picture and for how long/how often). You might need to help me!

  6. Mom's doing fine. She and Dad went back to Bullhead City again - this time to sell their 5th wheel. I'm sure they'll manage to drag that out until the spring somehow! Anything to get out of shovelling snow! ;-)

  9. I'll choose a nice beach with white sand and a private tiki bar - preferably with Kenny Chesney serenading us...... shirtless.

Getting hot.... need a cool spritz.

  10. I'm all over that...I'm there! When can he transfer?? Let's hope that cool spritz is not in the form of a luke-warm beer poured down your back (remember that drunk pregnant chick at the Kenny concert who nailed me before Kenny even entered the fricking arena???)
