Phi Kappa Phi inducts new members 04/06/2004

Fifty students at Clarion University were inducted into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.

Phi Kappa Phi is an all-discipline honor society, with a mission "to recognize and promote academic excellence in all fields of higher education and to engage the community of scholars in service to others." Those elected to membership include upper 7.5 percent last-term juniors and upper 10 percent seniors, along with outstanding graduate students, faculty, professional staff, and alumni.

Ernest Hartwig, a junior secondary education/social studies major. He is a son of Suzanne Hartwig of Knox and is a 1981 graduate of Anamosa Community High School in Anamosa, Iowa.

(Look what I found about our buddy, Ernie. He so smart.

Hey, Ernie, remember when we were counselors at 7th grade camp as 9th graders? With Jean, Stan, and who else?? Some Biggart gal from the class of 1980?? Did we or did we not sneak out and go canoeing during the early a.m. hours??)
