GREETINGS FROM DI
Carron,

So give me an update on your birthday yesterday. Were you lavished with gifts and such???

Also, how are things on the Pete and Ruth front? Your dad is such a strong positive person and I just know he will come through this fine. I hope your mom is getting better and will be able to get through all this as well. I did talk to my parents and they told me to tell you that they will do anything you need them to and not to hesitate to ask!

Must get back to all my Administrative Professional's Day feasting. We have food galore. LOVE IT!! I will NOT be loving my workout tonight, but life is for living and I am gonna eat snacks if I want to!!!!

Have a good one!

THE RACE IS ON...
Carron,

I believe that they are picking the final ten finalists this weekend for Minnesota Teacher of the Year. So I hope to know on Monday or Tuesday. I leave for France on Thursday so I hope to know before that.

I'll let you know as soon as I know.

DeDe IS ALIVE!

Hi, Carron!

You can always call me DeDe!!! Actually that's what I expect from my Anamosa friends!

Yes, I did send the info onto Libby. I didn't realize her e-mail address wasn't already on your distro list until I ran into her at work the other day. It's funny that Libby, Mike Beckmann, Tim Finn & his sister Marcia, Jean Reiter's sister Jane, and I all work for VerizonBusiness & are in the same building. Christy Beckmann used to work for the company too (back when we were MCI though).

Work & home are both incredibly busy....we're actually busier now than we have ever been. I was sorry the party at Scott's didn't work over the week-end, but it was my son's b-day on Sunday (he turned 7!) & we had a little family get together to get ready for & I knew we would not be able to make it out on Saturday night. Last week-end was the first week-end my husband and my older son have even been home this month as they have been traveling like crazy for soccer. They are going to St. Louis this weekend. My high school daughter is busy now with track & my 7 year old son is keeping me running with his soccer schedule too. As if things aren't crazy enough, we're planning to start our 4 year old daughter in soccer this spring!

I would love to get some pictures out on the blogsite.....if I ever had a minute to figure out how to do it, I would! Since I have not posted anything out there I feel like people must think I'm ashamed of my family!!! I hope I will get something out there soon.

Hopefully all is well for you & your family. Thanks for all you have done to keep us all connected!!! It's been great! I hope I can join in on one of the mini-reunions soon!

Take Care! Keep your toes warm today!

Hi Carron:

That was so nice of you to send me an e-mail. You do such a great job keeping in contact with everyone.

We had a great holiday too. Rockwell shut down for 12 days over Christmas. We are so spoiled here to get that time off and not having to use vacation. It went by very quickly. I was able to get some home projects done which is always nice. I don't have any holiday photos to send. I need to start doing that. It is always such a hectic time that I never think to take pictures.

I keep very busy working at Rockwell Full-Time plus I have my side business with Premier Designs Jewelry. I have so much fun with it. I definitely keep busy all the time.

Sorry it took so long to respond. I was hoping something exciting would happen but nothing new to report there. Just keeping busy all the time and looking forward to spring.

Take care. It's great to hear from you.

Ellen

Mike H. ~

Remember me saying last week how we were all dumbasses in high school, but thankfully, we have matured?

Well, I lied.

And, here's proof.

Hi, Carron.
I love the blog site!! You can remove me from the e-mail distribution because I just go to the blog site to look at photos and read comments. My e-mail is really slow (we STILL use dial up internet at home!) so the blog site is awesome!!!
Thanks!
Christy

See you Friday!
Carron

Hey, y'all ~

Not much news tonight, but after talking to and receiving e-mails from several people, I am thinking we are going to have ourselves a good crowd Friday night. I made a mental list and I am predicting about 20-25 classmates and maybe more I don't even know about. More than half are people who couldn't make the reunion, so it will be nice to see everyone!!!

Larry McGovern won two awards at the reunion. He won the "We Hardly Recognize You Anymore" award and the "You're Going To Be 100 Years Old When Your Kids Graduate" award. (We have classmates with younger children, but you had to be present to win!) Here is a picture from the reunion of Joel Andreesen, Dean Rickels, Larry and his daughter, me, Michelle Cass, and Diane Norton.
