Scott's birthday was on Saturday, November 22 and I totally spaced it off AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RAGBRAI

We made a trip to North Liberty to hook up with Scott for a couple hours during his overnight stay on the RAGBRAI tour.

He rides like a bazillion miles a week. I was starting to feel worn out and breathe heavy just listening to his story, so I grabbed a beer and a smoke and had a seat while he finished telling me about it.

Here is a prom picture of Dean's and my godson, Bryce Engelbart. He is the son of Lisa Heitland Williams and Warren Engelbart from the class of 1980. His date is Cally Wageman, who is the daughter of Sherri Weber and Bob Wageman (Class of 1982) and the niece of Scott!!!

Thank you so very much for last night. It was truly great. I am so impressed and overwhelmed at the turn out. Carol and I had a wonderful time and want to thank you and Tony for all the hard work in getting the entire event together. We will stay in touch and I hope we can all get together again in the future.

Sorry for the late reply. We got two of our kids off to college last week. It was pretty emotional. Our oldest is a Junior at ISU and our middle child is a freshman at UNI. Our youngest started back to school today.


Carol started work at a new job the Monday after I got back, so here I sit at home. I have many things left on my list, but have run out of motivation. That didn't take all that long. All the small things are done, but I have blamed the heat for the reason for not doing the major projects.


We plan on being at dinner Saturday night. We'll get there around 5 or so. We were going to come Friday night but Carol has to work Friday and we just couldn't make it happen. We have to swing by Cedar Falls and drop off a printer for my son next Saturday morning. Busy, busy.


No special requests. We are just looking forward to seeing everyone. See you then!

Just a reminder about Scott Weber's Welcome Home Party to

be held on Saturday, August 25th.

The party will be held at Tyler and Downing Eatery in

downtown Anamosa with dinner beginning anytime after 5:00, if you want

to eat.

I have reserved the upstairs lounge for the evening. The lounge

is smoke-free, but there is a smoking room next door. Munchies

will be provided and there will be a cash bar for your beverage

consumption.
