Brett ~
I did a Google search of your dealership and found pictures of you!!! You look great! It was so good to see your face after all these years!
What are the American Legion Riders? I want to guess that they are ex-military guys who spread a wonderful message of some kind, but I would like more information, if you could. And, yes, I agree with you. God bless Scott Weber and all the other troops for what they are doing. He writes to me often and every time I see his name on an e-mail, I breathe a little sigh of relief.
Send pictures of your wife, home, pets, etc. We would love to see it all! And, thanks again for getting in touch. If you would be interested in a class reunion book I put together, I would be more than happy to send you one. It just kind of details what everyone is up to these days.

Carron,
Thx, but I've lost weight since then!
American Legion Riders are members of the American Legion that own motorcycles. We are involved in fund raising activities for the community as well as injured, disabled and retired veterans. We occasionally go on group rides to other places in Texas, just for the ride, scenery and to hang out.
Some members are vets, some are sons of vets and some are daughters or spouses of vets.
I'm attaching a couple pics from our July 4th parade. You may need to shrink them!

WOW, Brett, that's awesome what you do. Thanks for the pictures. It is soooo nice to hear from you after all these years. How often do you make it home? Brian wrote to me and said you two partied on a while back at Knucklehead's. I was there a week ago Sunday after a hillclimb. Great fun!!!
ReplyDeleteWe're having a big shin-dig this Friday night. I am anticipating at least 10-15 classmates, most of whom weren't at the reunion, so it will be fun!! I'll take lots of pictures and forward them on!
